The topic of my interest in The Master Volume is the Master of all “ FMR” Clinical applications and just clinical applications of FMR. Usually we do course and the time patient comes to us we forget the step and then mess up again. But moment you have this master volume its like Dr. Moez standing beside you and guiding. you just read the chapter and do the step. And I think there will be no messing up. Be it veneer preparation or post and core and most important occlusion, this book tells you extacly what should you do clinically.

The very first moment I grabbed this book “ CLINICAL FIXED PROSTHODONTICS “ the red book with Dr Moez’s signing me best wishes after attending his FMR classes, that’s one of the best moments where a book reader/ knowledge seeker could feel about .
Later on most of my implant prosthodontics as well as few of fixed prosthodontic cases when I started referring, I realized this is just not a textbook , but a novel compilation of patient cases, typodont images and illustrations. The latest concepts, clinical chair side procedures and materials available are very well explained , it’s a quick click roadmap to solve the problems that we may face in everyday FPD practice. It was Dec 2016 at the IPS National Conference in Navi Mumbai when I first saw this huge banner of Dr Moez Khakiani and his newly launched book on Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics. I was in awe the moment I saw it. The immense hard work behind it was easily reflected in every single detail in it. So worthy for a clinician to possess, be it recently passed out or an experienced one. Fast forward almost 4 years I have a unique privilege like a handful few, of having its second volume with me, showing the same hardwork and dedication in making and a huge leap further into the future with the latest content. Though I don’t have any input in this version, I do have some information worth sharing with removable prosthodontics in future editions. Thanks Moez for the wonderful gesture.

Indeed it is one of the best books .I had done sir’s FMR course before few yrs, but the book i purchased recently. I am practicing dentistry since last 25 yrs. Let me honestly confess, many things about occlusion was missing in my practice. This book has absolutely changed my mindset abt treatment planning and execution. I am a bit of a bookie with fomo so when my mates at the OFP fellowship asked if I’d like to get the book. I said yes without knowing anything about the book or that it wasn’t related to OFP.

Thank you Dr Khakiani for bringing out this book. I am an older practitioner and have read various books on occlusion, TMJ but none of them seem to provide the steps involved in FMR cases as clearly as this book does. This book does it all, explaining concepts in an easy to understand format, starting from the very basic principles, all the way to how to design a case, refining the occlusion and maintenance, post op care, use of splints. I particularly like the chapters where all the steps have been demonstrated using actual cases. It has so many photos, illustrations and I found this extremely useful in understanding the concepts of FMR. Clearly a lot of work has been put into the book and I found it difficult to put it down once I started reading it. If you are feeling confused, like me about some concepts after reading various other books, this book clarifies it all. I feel a lot more confident in treating cases of FMR.
