Completed his BDS degree from Pad. Dr. D.Y.Patil Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai in 2005 and MDS in Prosthodontics and Oral Implantology from M.A. Rangoonwala Dental College and Research Centre, Pune in 2012.
He was inducted as a Fellow of the International parabolan cycle Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) in 2017
He was inducted as a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA) in 2018
Inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (ICD) in 2018 and
Has a Post Graduate Diploma in Esthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry from State University of Buffalo, NY, USA 2007.
He runs a successful private practice ‘Khakiani’s Dental Kare’ situated at Bandra West since 2006 with special attention towards Fixed prosthetics, Functional smile designing, Full mouth reconstructions and TMJ-Oro-facial pain management.
He is author of the highly acclaimed book titled “Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics” for which has been bestowed with “Dentistry Imprinted award” by BITEIN in Mumbai, Dec 2017 as well as “Superstar Author of the Year award” at the Indian Health Professional Awards in Delhi, Dec 2017.
He is the co-founder of MIK Dental that manufactures products designed by him. He has 7 patents registered under his name for which he has been recognized as “Entrepreneur Dentist of the Year” at Famdent Awards in Mumbai, Dec 2017, “Entrepreneur Dentist of the Year” at the EndoCons awards in Ahmedabad, September 2019 and has also received “Dental Innovation of the Year 2017” award at IHP in New Delhi, Dec 2017.
He recently received the prestigious “Outstanding Dentist of the Year” awards at FEDA 2019 held in Mumbai.
He was awarded with “Excellence in Oro-Facial Pain Management” by International Dental Excellence Awards in Mumbai, Dec 2018 for his extensive work in the field of TMJ disorders.
He was bestowed with Special Jury Award for the highly acclaimed category of “Outstanding Dentist of the Year 2017” at Famdent awards in Mumbai; while he also bagged the Special Jury Award for “Prosthodontist of the Year” at Famdent awards in Mumbai, Dec 2016.
He has also received “Excellence in Dentistry Award” at Dentistry 2016 by Indian Dentist Research and Review in Bangalore.
He has been felicitated as “Prosthodontist of the year 2016” by MAMR and as “Dental Speaker of the Year 2016” by Indian Health Professional Awards in Pune.
He has been bestowed with “Best Dentist Award” by IDA at 54th Maharashtra State Dental Conference at Thane, Nov 2015 and awarded “Best Prosthodontist 2015” at the National Dental Excellence Awards, Oct 2015.
He is faculty for ENCODE (Enhanced Continuing Dental Education) and for ETC (Education Training Center) at the IDA Head office.
He is a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for 3M, Colgate, Medicept, IPCA pharmaceuticals, Abbott, Septodont and Hu-Friedy.
He has to his credit several papers and publications at various conferences in India and overseas and is a highly acclaimed speaker for his clinically relevant presentations.
He is a co-editor for ‘Chairside’ Dental Magazine.
He has over 350 keynote podium lectures at various state, national and international conferences and dental colleges.
He hosts a dedicated channel on youtube where he regularly uploads videos of prosthetic protocols.
He is the Director for “Prosthotrain” and actively conducts CDE courses and handson workshops. He has personally sildenafil 1a farma trained over 3000 dentists for Crown and Bridge Dentistry, Ceramic Laminates, Occlusion, Full Mouth Rehabilitations and TMJ Disorders with live patient demonstrations.
