Cutting and removing old crowns shouldn’t feel like a battle!
If you’re tired of blunt burs that slip, strained hands from excess pressure, and air- rotors that scream in protest — it’s time for a change.
MetalCut Solo is milled from a single block of solid carbide, delivering unmatched sharpness and effortless metal reduction.
No solder. No breakage. Just pure cutting power — I know thats exactly what you are looking for.
I have to cut caps and remove on a weekly basis as the practice is a trust. Honestly, I’m not sure why I waited this long to switch. MetalCut is miles ahead of what I used before.
Never thought I’d enjoy a metal cutting bur this much.
These burs saved me twice last week — one metal cap and a 3 unit PFM bridge. I was so happy. I didn’t expect it to handle the bulk reduction so easily. Wow!
I’ve tried dozens of metal burs over the years. This one stands out. It’s sharp, long-lasting,
and beautifully balanced. You can tell it’s engineered well.
One word: BEAST. I barely touch the crown and it gets cut. Highly recommended.

Cutting full metal crowns used to be the worst part. But that has changed with sir’s carbide burs- no stress.
Crown removal time just halved and my airrotor is thanking me.
Finally, no more breaking mid-prep. You don’t realize how frustrating those tiny failures are until you start using the MIK Carbides. I wish this came to me earlier.
Super smooth, clean cutting. I used to use Trihawk, but they used to break all the time. This one does not. I have switched over completely.
