Ever faced a crown that fits perfectly during trial… but sits high after cementation? The issue often lies in uneven pressure during seating, especially when using cotton rolls.
Solution:
The Crown Seater which applies controlled, anatomical pressure right where it’s needed—mimicking the opposing cusp to ensure your crown or bridge seats fully and precisely, every single time. Watch the video to understand this better.
Step 1: Try-in and Adjust
Seat your crown or bridge and verify the fit and occlusion during the trial phase.
Step 2: Prepare for Cementation
Apply cement and place the prosthesis as usual.
Step 3: Position the Crown Seater
Select the appropriate quadrant tool and position it on the occlusal surface of the prosthesis.
Step 4: Instruct the Patient
Ask the patient to bite firmly on the Crown Seater. This applies focused apical pressure, aiding in full marginal adaptation.
Step 5: Hold Position
Maintain biting pressure for the initial setting time of the cement.
Step 6: Remove and Clean
Once the cement has set, remove the Crown Seater, clean off any excess cement, and sterilize the tool for future use.
amazin tool… at first i thought its too simple to work but wow! really presses crown in like a boss… stars from me
MIK Dental, you guys nailed it! I don’t even need to explain to patients anymore—they bite, it seats, done!
Used it on a molar crown. Excess cement flushed out in seconds. Felt confident, and patient was comfortable too.
I usually use cotton rolls to seat crowns. But now have changed it to the crown seater. Most gpts please make one for anterior also as I am not able to use it on front.
one of those ‘do I need this? What will it even do?’ But now its like, why did no one think of this before? 😂

Was skeptical at first ‘BITE’, but this tiny tool fixed an issue for me—no more high crowns post cementation! It really works.
I used it for a 3-unit zirconia bridge yesterday—margins seated beautifully. The patient just bit on it while I cleared excess cement.
Suprising how such a simple tool can solve such a big problem. my assistant asked me where was this all these years 😂 thanks MIK team
Been practicing for 12 years and never thought I needed this—until I used it. No more cotton roll hacks.
Superb and must have for all the dentist as its the basic requirement to seat our crowns & bridges properly, it provide sufficient and even distribution of pressure during cementation.
